A candidate cannot take more than 5 attempts in the 12-month period. A candidate can take a maximum of 8 retests in their lifetime.

The question paper has four sections namely quantitative, integrated reasoning, verbal and analytical writing assessment. Time duration is three and a half hours. Total score range is 200-800. - GMAT results
The GMAT results will be published at the end of the test. The student has to accept or decline the result. Accepting the score will make the scores available for the participating institutes to view. If you decline the scores, the institutes won’t be able to see your scorecard. The official result will be sent to the institutions within 20 days time.

GMAT scale is between 200-800. The verbal and quantitative score will have an impact on the overall GMAT score. For analytical writing, the range is 0-6 scale whereas integrated reasoning will be scaled on a range of 1-8. Usually, candidates score between 400-600.
